Frequently ask questions?

What is DatabaseKit?
We're building DatabaseKit to solve the problem of fragmented database tools. From management and data access to observability and analytics, it brings everything together in one platform. Think Cursor, but for the database space.
How will pricing work?
Taking inspiration from the proven open-source model of Grafana, we plan to build an ecosystem of free, open-source tools supported by sustainable enterprise offerings.
Whats the roadmap?
Every team uses a database client (think tableplus, dbeaver), our belief is that these tools only a cover subset of an engineers data workflows. Our first release focuses on a fully functional client that uses some AI and really good UI experience for schema design, seeding and querying.

Over time we'll involve it into an agentic database platform that covers all the responsibilities of a database admin.
